What is actually running
- Retrieval, not generation
- A scored keyword match over a fixed set of your own written rules. It returns the rule; it does not write prose. It cannot invent a policy, because it has no ability to write one.
- Every answer cites
- The source rule is shown verbatim underneath, with the scores that picked it. If the citation is wrong you can see that it is wrong — which is not true of an answer that arrives with no source.
- When it does not know
- It says so. A retrieval system with a confidence floor returns nothing; a generative one returns something, and that something is what gets a crew hurt.
- Where the rules come from
- You dictate them once. Changing a rule is editing one line, and every future answer changes with it.
- Cost
- No per-question charge. Nothing here calls a model.
